This sounds like a possible bug. You should provide information about you hardware, OS, driver version, and which version of Houdini you are using and maybe one of the devs can help.

Thanks for replying! I thought I may have been doing something wrong in the application or missing something obvious. But if it seems like a bug, then I will try to reproduce the problem and give details on what Im doing and system specs. Thanks again Michael!

But does Mentra support GI? Also I've noticed Mentra renders pretty slowly. Im not sure if my settings needed work (left them at default when I did my first test render) and it took awhile just to render 1 box and 1 light.

I guess that was a noob question. Forgive me for my insolence. I come from 8 years of 3d max. Basically everytime my mouse was stuck on Red I thought it was a bug or something, especially sometimes i could not click on anything else and had to force End App. Sorry for the noob question.
