Hi All,

Currently I am working on a Comet coming from above the camera and landing in the distance of the background Image I have applied. At first I just created a background plain with the image, which allowed me to cast Shadow Matte onto the image, but did not render.

After that I tried making the Background Image part of the camera's view, but now it wont even render the shadow cast from the Comet onto the ground.

I have attached the file, if anyone can please have a look and let me know what I am doing wrong as soon as possible, that would be great.

I am still relatively new to all this, so apologies in advance if it's a complete Noob mistake.

Hi All,

Sorry of this may seem like a rubbish question, but I am really stumped here. So I am currently trying to advect particles with the velocity of the smoke, (Please see Picture). But as you can see, the particles do not follow the smoke like they should and instead, fly insanely forward, straight on the first frame.
What am I missing here? I have advected particles a few times before and never had this problem.

If anyone can answer me here or lead me somewhere else for the answer I shall be very grateful.
