Let me explain a bit better:

Ok, I make a new scene.

1 .Ctrl-click a box to add it to the origin
2. Click Material Palette tab, next to ‘tree view’
3. Attempt to drag ‘Bricking’ onto the box


When I try this, It just show's a ‘no’ symbol next to the mouse. Release it, and nothing happens.

The only way I can seem to get this to work is to click the arrow next to where it says ‘Mantra’, then click assign.

Sorry if this has been answered before, I did a quick search but didn't find anything.

Drag/Drop seems to be locked for me (Dragging a material to an object, I get the ‘no’ mouse icon) Trying drag parameters in the Edit Parameter Interface pane, and anything else that I try it in.

Is this a setting or something that I've messed with thats blocking me from dragging items?
