Orient pop instance to particle velocity direction March 26, 2015, 2:36 a.m.
Hey guys,
hopefully an easy one here.
Simple pop network and instancing a tube. Want the tube to orient to the velocity direction.
Searched high and low but found nothing for H14 and how to do this.
Thanks!

Stick on Collision with VDB Jan. 21, 2015, 10:59 a.m.
Hey,
has anyone managed to get this working with VDB from polygons sourced? Also has anyone got it to work super sticky? For example have it stick and then rotate the object upside down and have it sticking with the outside surface slowly dripping off?
The closest I've got is using a fluid source with add object motion turned on, but I cant seem to replicate that using VDB.
Also another quick question, Using Add Object Motion, will add the translate values from Geometry level. I can't seem to get it to target animation in SOP level, any ideas there?
Thanks!

Gas Particle Seperation - specific Oct. 23, 2014, 7:38 a.m.
Hey,
Want the particle seperation to only be on certain areas, for example anything with a velocity above zero with activate particle seperation only on those particles.
Saw inside the Flip solver there is a micro solver called Gas Particle Seperate which looks like it is controlling this.
Question is, how can I only get it to act on those specific areas? Not sure what it's internal field is called if any.
Thanks!
Kristaan
