Loop a simulation process over a number of objects April 28, 2022, 8:28 a.m.

Hi Folks,
Hope you can help me here. I have a cloth simulation that falls over a base object, it takes ~20 frames to complete (to the point where it settles nicely). The base object has about 10 different shapes (these are all pillars varying in intensity), I need to find a way to run the cloth sim (which takes x frames to complete) over the ~10 different states of this object. For each iteration, it would be great to either export a bgeo of the cloth or more ideally export a csv of it. I am currently doing this manually but need to automate it to scale up. Any advice appreciated!
Cheers
Craig

This is brilliant! Exactly what I needed. Thanks so much!

Animating time-series data (i.e. population change) April 26, 2020, 1:04 p.m.

Hi All,

I'm relatively new to Houdini so am looking for some pointers on the best way to do the following:

I have a number of points, each with varying values for different hours of the day. I need to find a way of interpolating between the unique point id and its corresponding values per hour. Wondering where to start with this, i.e. what format should data be in? Array? And how to extract a value based on a time? And if possible how to smoothly interpolate between them!

Appreciate any help, tips or pointers.

Thanks
