Rendering frame range issues April 13, 2014, 3:21 p.m.
Hi there,
I am currently having problems attempting to render a pretty heavy scene. I'm reading in nearly 120GB of either alembic, or bgeo files, and rendering in different takes in order to composite later. Each take has a separate render node, and I've merged them together for a batch render. However it seems that whenever I begin my render, (whether it be on an individual node, or the batch merge) the render gets stuck in “Blending Primitives,” and never begins to render, but fills up my entire C Drive in temp or cached files. This is strange to me, and as I've fiddled around with the render nodes, I've noticed that if I set the nodes to render a single frame, it works fine. However, if I set the nodes to any kind of frame range, the again get stuck in “Blending Primitives” and fill my C Drive. Anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks for your time
