Thank you so much for this tip. I had a hard time describing this ‘interactive viewport update’ issue to google

I almost deleted my entire preferences or worse yet, re-installed Houdini all over.

When I peel off my Network View and put it on my second monitor, I can't add certain nodes to it (pressing ‘tab’ while hovering over Network View).

I tried adding a File node and a Merge node, but it prompts me to place it on the viewport interactively. They work fine in its default mode/ view on the bottom right of the layout.

Can anyone else duplicate this?
