Hey, I'm extremely new to Linux and Houdini and I'm looking for some help.
I've recently installed houdini on Suse 10.3 without any issues. When I ran houdini, however, it froze as soon as the licensing screen opened up. When I tried running it again I get the following error message
I've looked around and haven't found a post addressing this issue. Any help would be appreciated.

Cannot open the myDisplay. Is your DISPLAY environment variable set?
Server initialization failed. Sorry.
I've looked around and haven't found a post addressing this issue. Any help would be appreciated.
