I don't think there's any reason to use Escape with HD, it's just a limited version of Master.
Thanks for the reply Jesse. I have no idea what's the difference between Houdini and Escape since it is all new to me. I'll look into it further.

Is Houdini Escape included with Apprentice HD ?
After installing my Apprentice HD licenses, I can open Houdini but when opening Houdini Escape the license administrator is presented as if it thinks the license is not installed but all three license have been entitled.

Resolved the issue myself.
During installation I was selecting the option for Apprentice License instead of License Server so on my nth try I left installation at the default settings and was able to enter in a value in the Quantity field.
