Platform game tool (Frima Studio like) April 5, 2016, 2:43 p.m.

Hello,
Recently I started learning procedural modeling with Houdini. My goal is environment artist in the game industry.

I am trying to make similar platform design tool Frima Studio made for their game Chariot.

Here's the link to the story.

I am using 3 cubes (the yellow nodes) and with a bunch of cookie (the blue nodes), group and delete nodes, I managed to do this (pls see the attched image). Looking good so far. And I am pretty happy, since I work with Houdini only for 10 days.

However, if I use, let say 25 cubes, there will be a lot cookie nodes and manual work I'd like to avoid. The idea is to place the cubes and leave the rest (or atleast most of the work) to Houdini.

If I can merge a few curves in one (adobe illustrator like) and then extrude them etc, that would be the best. I don't know how to do it and I am googleing like crazy with no result yet. Probably there's a solution using polygons only, but not curves.
Any help and ideas are more than welcome
Thanks,
Kosta
