pop solver and rbd solver May 31, 2019, 1:38 a.m.

hello everyone,
I was trying to use a pop solver with instances colliding with a fractured geo (RBD objects) with a multi-solver
However the RBD object also picked up the forces from the pop solver and moving with the particles.

Can I use a particle system generating instance to break a fractured rbd object?
I have seen a lot of example combining Sop solver, bullet/rbd solver with a multi-solver

Pyro visible in viewport but nothing renders Feb. 28, 2018, 4:16 a.m.

I was tweaking the shader for the pyro, but after i cached. Mantra didn't render anything but pitch black
Since I was just tweaking the shader with the mantra_ipr, all of a sudden the cache didn't render also the pyro sim.
Can anyone help me? Is this a bug or what?

Pyro rest field and scale noise problem Oct. 31, 2017, 10:37 p.m.

I have a pyro sim done, it looks all fine with the cache
but when I apply the scale noise in the pyro shader,
in both smoke field and fire intensity field.
they both keep fading in and out in a 20 frame interval just like my rest field setting in the pyro solver.
I don't know if this is the issue or not.
why would this happen and how to solve it?
