cloth woes June 26, 2015, 6:24 p.m.

Hi

I'm trying to follow along on an old 3d Buzz tutorial

http://www.sidefx.com/index.php? [sidefx.com]
option=com_content&task=view&id=1245&Itemid=66

I am attempting to turn some clipped and triangulated geo into a cloth object that is blow upwards by a fan force.

I'm getting some bizzare warnings and the cloth doesn't sim as expected.

my end goal is to have the fan force glow just a small section of the cloth

If anyone can have a look that would be amazing.

Hi,

I'm trying to copy a teapot to each point on a grid with different random sizes.

The tutorial I am following uses a vopsop to fit a random number between .1 and 1 and applies that to a created pscale attribute.

In Houdini 14 vopsops are a thing of the past. I have tried to use attibute vop as well as point vop. The pscale attribute gets added but all the values are the same.

Anyone know a workaround/solution?
