I've been going through the wiresolver to constrain the ends of the coil to the two objects. How do I maintain the color of the sphere and coil? I'm also doing this for a double spring.

Hello I am creating a simulation where I have a sphere “oscillate” back and forth eventually going to rest. I want to constrain a coil where one end is constrained to the wall and the other is constrained to the sphere so that it squashes and stretches. The sphere is working but I can't seem to constrain the coil. Does anyone know how to do this? Right now the coil isn't moving.

I have looked at Spring tutorials and the general question but that was doing something else. I have the file attached. I eventually want to do this where there are two spheres and two walls.
