Today we're looking at creating bounding geometries in Houdini by using several different nodes in the SOP level:

  • Bound SOP
  • Box SOP
  • Sphere SOP


This knowledge will help you when setting up simulations, as well as modelling and creating procedural digital assets.


The method works in all Houdini versions, but I'm using Houdini 19.5 which has 2 additional options you can use now.
