This is one of the best houdini tutorials I've followed as a beginner to it. It not only really efficiently and simply achieved it's goal of teaching you how to create a gear, it also included some really create workflows for creating nulls and also also just some random useful things you can do to make sure your workflow is efficient.

Some of the nodes in Houdini have changed over the years, but once that's figured out, the results of this tutorial are amazing!
