Are the general concepts in this tutorial series still relevant with the introduction on Otis in H21? How has the workflow changed with Otis?

I am working on an updated Masterclass for H21, but I will be referring back to this Masterclass a lot, so it is still worth watching. I'd recommend putting down an "Otis Muscle and Tissue Simulation" recipe from the SOP tab menu, and then comparing the nodes in there to what is mentioned in these videos to give you an idea of what is the same and what is different. I can't give a comprehensive overview of the differences here, but the biggest difference is that we no longer use Muscle-to-Muscle or Muscle-to-Bone constraints in Otis, instead relying on the fascia or the tissue to hold the muscles in place, so you can skip videos 11 and 12 (10 still has useful information on attachment candidates, which we use for Muscle Glue). Apart from that there is the new tension line and activation workflow that isn't Otis specific, but is new in H21, although the old method can still be used in more or less the same way, you'll notice that the Muscle Flex interface is a bit different. You can also watch Kai's Siggraph Hive presentation, or my Tokyo Hive presentation (which covers the new tension line and activation workflow) to get a better idea of the new features and differences. Lastly, there is a lot of information in the documentation - https://www.sidefx.com/docs/houdini/news/21/muscles.html and https://www.sidefx.com/docs/houdini/muscles/index.html are good places to start. I hope that helps tide you over until the new Masterclass is released!
