HDA Processor was re-written to use Hython instead of HAPI. Here are a list of features stemming from the change:

• Will auto detect inputs and outputs to the HDA and fill the parametersaccordingly
• Supports multiple geometry outputs now
• Support for writing image output from COPs-based HDAs
• Faster job startup times with Hython
• Will work in Apprentice now
• Can specify the SOP node to output when the HDA is OBJ level

PDG work item environment variables are now just regular item attributes with an "Export" flag enabled. They behave the same as before - exported attributes are made available as variables in the process environment of the job associated with the work item. The pdg.WorkItem.addEnvironmentVar and pdg.WorkItem.environment Python API methods will still provide the same functionality as before.

The Distance from Object SOP and Distance from Points SOP have been replaced with the Distance from Closest Geometry SOP and Distance from Shortest Path SOP. Shelf tools have been add to easily build mask attributes from these measurements. Also, the Attribute Remap SOP now has a parameter to specify how values outside the input range should be handled.

Added support for having per-subitem attributes on batch work items. This also includes various changes to the JSON serialization format used to transfer work item attributes to the farm. Newer builds of Houdini are still able to load the old format, so an older build can submit jobs to a farm running the newer version.
