H21 Splash Screen - Flow Solver

This project show the Houdini 21 splash screen visual and demonstrates the Flow Solver working in synergy with both SOP and DOP contexts. It shows how you can generate organic, intricate velocity fields in just a few minutes and then apply that data across different areas of Houdini. The setup includes examples of using flow data to drive Vellum simulations for more natural motion, refining animation with CHOPs, and building a complete lighting setup in Solaris and Karma. A custom procedural shader is also provided, where flow attributes are used to control aspects such as metalness, refraction, and surface variation. Finally, the project explores a playful workflow for lighting in Copernicus, where the HDRI is created directly in COPs by creating abstract shapes and using them to influence scene illumination in real time.

    Awesome simulation! Was fun to poke around in, but i am not really getting any colors from the sim. When i start the render after having exported all the lights so that they work, all the marbles are black. I can see that i the material it is grabbing some geometry color and driving transmission and so on with that, but the color is just black...

      Do you have the SideFX Labs tools installed - the error seems to be looking for those nodes.
