Hi, i'm trying to render out a normal map. The problem in Hou that the normal map is translated (rendered out) as relative vector to the active(render) camera. I need it to be in world absolute vector. How to do that?

thanx.

its pretty chill to do this.

wire your normal into a ‘transform vop’ transforming from ‘current’ to ‘world’ and set your signature to transform the ‘normal’ the plug that into color or make an export parm to send it out as an aov.

then go to the beach with all the rest of the time you have since it was so easy to do in houdini :-)
