I am doing a digital tutors tutorial and I am having a major problem which is in the project file supplied. I can only assume it's a version issue. I'm on 12, the tutorial was done on H 11

I have animated geometry as a RBD object and some balls as a RBDFractured object which are supposed to drop onto the animated floor and roll around.

This all work fine when cooked in the DOP level but when I come back to the SOP level it all goes haywire with floor spinning around all over the place.

What's going on?

The file is attached. Any help very much appreciated.

Cheers

Jake

I never used the object merge option on dopnetwork in the geometry level so I don't know exactly how it works, but instead I just disabled this option and created manually a dopimport node to bring only the objects that I needed on the geometry level.

I hope that helps.

You're missing a static solver for your groundplanes, the ones that are static and are used as the boundaries for your sim so put one between merge2 and merge1 and it works as it should.
