Hi guys

I'm trying to download Houdini Apprentice but the download quits at 19.8 Megs. I've tried with Chrome and IE but they both stop at the same amount

I'm trying to download the 32bit Win XP version.

Are there any known problems with the download or is there another location I can download from?

Thats weird, u could login and try to download one of the daily builds instead.

Heh, I tried that and they fail at 2 MB!
I've sent them a support email to see if they know anything about it

Ok sweet, I got it downloaded. I went back 3 daily builds.

I watched to download very closely and as soon as it started to stall I paused it, waited a bit then unpaused it.

It stalled about 10 times all up and I expected the file to be corrupt when I installed but it installed fine!

So if anyone has that problem, just pause and unpause. Might work for you.

This happened to me when I used Avast Antivirus.. I just turn it off untill download is finished..

Ah! ok. I've got Avast. Might have been the problem too.

Yep, that was the problem! I disabled Avasts Sheilds for the duration of the download and had no problems downloading the latest version.
