houdini to maya animation sync issues

im trying to get the workflow from maya to houdini and back to work properly for me. im used the FBX format to go back and forward. my work ethic is i create a object like a beaker and i add a couple of keys to animate it moving side to side then i export it fbx and import it into houdini…. everything to this point seems to work fine. in houdini i add the flip fluids and fill the beaker with liquid i do everything and when finished everything looks fine in houdini the problem is when i import it back into maya. what i do is i leave the original animation in maya and i only import the particle mesh from houdini into maya as an fbx. when i go to play the animation the particle mesh and the animated beaker in maya are not in sync.. the particle mesh penetrates the beaker. can any one tell me what i am doing wrong and how i can solve this problem. thank you

Different Frame rates ? Houdini by default is 24 FPS , whats Maya ?

i have already tried that and that is not the problem. maya and houdini are at 24 fps
