hello,

i create a chopnet node, inside i imported an ascii file .chan.
Now, i need to modify, to edit this curve…
there is a node like “EDIT” for transform my ascii curve? In fact i need to change only a few points.

which node can i use for change my ascii file into points?you understand?
i can't send you my file because it's only a test…

Please, tell me if you don't understand..

Best regards.

While I am not 100% sure what you want to do, here is a tutorial that will recreate your chop curve at the sop level with the exact same number of points. You could edit the curve there and then put it back into chops after you have edited it.

You can turn on “dots” in the Motion View settings. Then you can just drag them to lock the CHOP node. Or you can also try using a Spline CHOP which will convert it to spline representation with keys that you can edit in Motion View.
