delete node deleting UVs

I imported a geometry from modo with diferent groups.

in Houdini I bring the obj and then splitting the pieces. with a delete node for each of the pieces that I have.
but the delete node, also delete the uvs. I tried with blast node. but still same issue.

any one got similar issues? or any tip?

Are your uv's a “point” (aka “shared point”) or “vertex” (aka “unique point”) attribute? If it's a point attribute, try appending a AttribPromote SOP and promote the uv attribute from point to vertex before deleting.

they are vertex attributes.

Ok, then I don't understand the issue. What doesn't work the way you want/expect?

for some reason is moving all the points to u to 0 and v to 0
i will post an image of the with the ui later on.

Perhaps you can post a sample .obj with corresponding .hip file?

Aja… found the issue.

I was exporting from modo the geometry layer with curves,
if I export the obj with just the mesh it works fine.
