Points to particles and keep geometry

Is there any straight forward way to sent the points of a geometry into pops and keep the geometry after pops?

Softbody POP
use it instead of Source POP and you can set springs to No Springs if you want just plain particle behaviour, it will still keep the geometry

alternatively you can Attribcopy P from particles to original geo if you have created particle for each point using Source POP

thanks for the reply @tampte, I did already the latter using “AttrCopy” as there was no animation on position just on some attributes.
