Rendering Problem

Hello World,

I have been having this problem for long time.
Mantra can not render all frames all the time.
I am using H 11 trial version with my 5 yr old Mac Pro (snow leopard).
I wonder why mantra skips frames in rendering about 25 to 324 frames animation.
Usually, 1 0r 2 frames out of 25 frames are not rendered.
And as many as 10 to 15 frames are not rendered out of 324 frames.
in Many cases, the same frame numbers are not rendered whenever I try to repeat rendering over and over again.
Is that because of my ram(8G) or processor or graphics card ?
Can any one help me.
I set 8 -10 sample rate in Mantra and default setting in lightings and camera.
I can not use H12 because the geo light doesn't work for my character.
I originally built my animation file using H11. The geo light works in H11.

Please any one help me what to do.

Upgrade to h12.5

I Did upgrade to 12.5 the latest daily build.
I have some lighting problem especially in geo light for my obj.
That's why I am stuck to use H 11, the latest daily build.
Can any one help me further?

Seems like you have 2 issues >

Geometry lights are not working and mantra is skipping frames ie your supposed to render 200 frames and a random number get skipped. Different frames every time. Please then post up a scene with your geometry lights not working in h12.5 and also include into it a simplified scene using houdini primitives that skips frames using your lights and shaders and mantra rop.
