The day didn't start very good….

Pressing the help button on any node gives me this 0xc000007b error.
I googled it but no actual solution came up. I scanned for viruses, I checked/cleaned registry, I emtied the trash can, I washed my teeth but it doesn't go away…..
I know I can access the help file from the instalation folder but just pushing the the help button on specific nodes so much faster..

Should I've been worried that I've compromised by a virus ?
avast says i'm good, avg says I have a threat(avg is like the the lying shepherd , you never realy know… )

Any ideas?

Maybe you should wash your hairs !

Can you open your help's page in the external browser like firefox ?

Temporary use this way till you find sulotion my friend

I have same problem and it solved when I reinstall Houdini !

I think hbrowser.exe in the Houdini xxxx/mozilla/ corrupted (for Virus or restarting system or some other reasons !) :?

I hope that your problem will solve my friend

thanks for your reply Sadjad !

I wish I could say for sure that it is just a random problem with the hbrowser.exe

If that is not the case maybe I should reinstall windows to eliminate the possibility of a virus.

I reinstalled houdini but this didn't fix the problem…
