I'm having some trouble making an ocean feel large, or rather an object in it to feel large towards the ocean surface.
The object is about 50 units long, and to avoid obvious repeating patterns I've set the Grid Size on my Ocean Spectrum to 1000 units - which I am then instancing over a 10000 area.
It wouldn't let me attach anything to this post, so this is where I'm at: http://oi43.tinypic.com/rs4k74.jpg [oi43.tinypic.com]
I want the general look of the ocean like that - but “smaller” so the object feels larger. No matter what I change I can't seem to get it, all I really want is to scale it down. And if I use a smaller Grid Size, it becomes really noticable with the instancing so I want to avoid that..
Anyone have any ideas?

you can also try , deforming your mesh again with another ocean deformer with bigger swells.
