Hi ,
Once you pack a set of primitives like a fractured object , the packed objects are represented by name and in the details view are then considered as points which attributes can be applied too. So is there any way if you add attributes after packing you can see a representation of those points in the viewport ? ie lets say I want to add a random normal vector direction which will be used by vel to drive the fractured pieces in DOPs . I would like to see those vector directions ?

You can't view decorations of the contents of a packed primitive, only on the attributes of the packed primitive itself (single prim/point) currently.

Interesting, so I should be able to see Normal decorations on the post packed chunks in the viewport ? . If that is the case I am not able to see anything on OSX 10.9 once the assemble SOP is applied.

It would be a nice idea to at least see a representation of the packed Point. Which could use attribute decorations.
