i just found (and never ever heard or read before) something that made me very happy so i thought i just share it:
menu->windows>textport, then type in “exhelp” (without the quotes) to get a list of all expression-commands.
and the best thing is it also gives you a description and examples on each function, so for example when you type “exhelp angvel” (or whatever expression you wanna get info about):
voilá.
i love it.

I'm glad you like it! Doing is exhelp is handy in the textport still because it's close to where you might want to test it in the first place, and the search is narrowed to actually what you want as opposed to the regular help search which has a larger scope. Note though that this is the same info given in the help browser as well. eg. if you searched for “angvel” inside the help browser pane.
