Ive set up this simple test to advect 25 points generated from a source POP dop on frame one to collide with some external geometry. I want to then use a volume to drive a swirling type effect , but of course the volume from the Source SOP does not collide with collision geometry. How can I inject the source volume and have it collide > react > or is my approach incorrect. I am trying to achieve swirling particulate.

You don't need to create density volume. You need only velocity volume.
You can simply use Container Sttings> initialize> Velocity. This will create only vel volume.

You have set Velocity Scale of POP Advect by Volumes DOP very high.

Thanks for that tip ! , yes I know about the values , I often set crazy values to test principle ideas.
