Hello, and happy new year to you all!

I am trying to promote the “Pattern” input froma Delete SOP to the top of a subnetwork. It works fine as long as I am using number for the pattern but when I try to input something like `$N` it fails.
It works when I type it directly into the Delete SOPs pattern, and I have tried to promote it in different ways but nothing seems to work. Am I doing it wrong or is just a bug ?

File with setup attached.

Thank you but as we spoke on FB it needs to handle any pattern thrown at it 0-4 or 0-3 6-$N or 6-$N.

as far as I can tell is that when you type in $N in the delete node pattern it turns yellow, indicating that the local variable is available. And when you type in $N on the subnet it turns red, indicating it is NOT available.. so im guessing it wont work.. ?

Solved in a semi ok way, did a VOPSOP with a ramp parameter feeding of a $PT / $NPT coloring the spline, deleting things $CR > 0.5 and exposing the ramp as parameter to forloop. so now you can just draw the ramp values back and forward and see where the holders will be. And it handles different amount of points per line you input into it.

Not as neat as typing it in but I guess it will have to do, but if someone comes up with a solution where you type in the values your welcome to share.
