Hey Everyone,
I know this is a simple question , but I have yet to find a solution for this..
I have a 3d model, in which it contains a bump, specular, and diffuse map all with the same UV's. Now on programs like Maya and 3DS Max I can apply all three textures easily and they would overlay each other nicely. But for some reason when I try to do the same thing in Houdini, only one texture can be applied to the object. I'm trying to apply the different textures to the whole object not just individual parts.
Any idea on how to get this done? Thanks in advance

Hey Tharum, the material SOP simply assigns a material to the mesh (or parts of the mesh). You can even assign it to the whole object in the material tab at the OBJ level.
What you are looking for is the materials, where you can assign all the different texture passes. Judging by your screenshot, it looks like you already have a vopMaterial, which is probably the raw vanilla material used for shader building.
Try instead to go to your shopnet, and choose the Mantra Surface material from the gallery (or even some of the more basic ones like clay)
hope this helps!
