Now that we have one of the coolest extrude operators in the industry I would like to have it on a hotkey (polysplit and the other tools as well) but the only tool I seem to be able to assign a hotkey to is polybevel.
I am using ctrl-alt-shift when clicking on polyextrude in the shelf and the hotkey editor opens but there is no polyextrude.

You may want to log an RFE for that if you haven't already. Thanks!

Hey guys,
i had the same issues but fixed it with manual editing of the HotkeyOverrides file.

edit the file at your home directory. ~/houdini15.0/HotkeyOverrides

add this to the list:
h.tool:sop_polyextrude::2.0 PolyExtrude “Shelf Tool: PolyExtrude” Ctrl+Shift+D

What I did was create a new tool on the shelf, grabbed the code from the polyextrude and just named that tool polyextrude2
Now you can assign a shortcut to that new tool

And that works as well
