Does anyone has experienced the “flat tank” node to crash unexpectedly. All other types of tanks work. Only the “flat” is corrupted.

Here is how simply I get this error:

1. new scene, create a sop
2. inside the geo, create a
3. intialize settings include these types of tanks: wave, splash, wave layer, beach, flat
4. all types of tanks work except the “flat tank”. When I chose the “flat tank” Houdini immediately crashes.

P.S.
I have also posted in another thread, that I get a crash when I click the “add interior detail” check-box within the voronoi node. I left that on a separate thread, as I dont know if the 2 cases are related.

I just tried that on my system which is close to yours in spec, a little under. It worked without a crash using 15.0.313.

Are you over clocking your system by chance?
Has your disk surface been checked recently? (No need if you have a SSD).
Using Houdini Indie 20.0
Windows 11 64GB Ryzen 16 core.
nVidia 3050RTX 8BG RAM.

Yes my system is over-clocked. I am not sure to what extent, need to ask the technical person. And yes my HDD is SSD. Thanks for the tip will try to return clock speed and test.

Thanks Chrism, I will submit these bugs.
