Hi,

OK, so I created an attribute called cluster and assigned it $CB using attributecreate.

However, when I attempt to reference $CLUSTER in a delete SOP it gives me an error.

What am I missing?

HI jim,
You have not created Local Variable for claster attribute.
You can either enable “Local Variable” option in attribcreate1 node or use @cluster in delete1 node.

Thanks.

I tried checking that box before, but I think I used the default all UPPER CASE designation for the variable name.

I was watching a tutorial and they didn't check that box, so it threw me off.

in older tutorials, this would be the case, but it has changed in Houdini 15 (in favor of using the more direct @ syntax when possible)
