Hi,
simple - but not for me?
Just want to fill an object with fluids. Everything works fine but!
I need an impulse like effect, no streaming.
How can I start/stop the fluid object. No problems with particles;o) I try to find something like “activate”.

Thanks a lot.

Just keyframe emission amount in the apply_source node.

But how would you make a fluid trickle down?! This parameter ceases the emission completely once it reaches zero, instead of extinguishing at a given rate.

Cheers

hey I know, its super old - but since I also was wondering how to slowly decrease the rate of the particles, I did it with a very cheap trick:

animating the emitter just slowly down. so the particles will fall below the geometry and get deleted by the deleter box.

for me thats working great and looks very clean. if anybody has the perfect solution, I am willing to learn
