not sure about subnet, but once it's an asset you can make sure that
Preferences/Network Editor…/Allow Diving Into Locked Assets
is turned off

Thanks for your reply tamte

In fact I want to avoid this behavior in asset, but turning off “Allow diving into locked assets” is not working for me. Maybe I have set both nulls into “editable nodes” for asset properties, to make available them can be select and move it.

As well as, I would like a way to avoid dive into network that aren't dependent user preferences.

I've been found a way to allow manipulate nulls inside asset preventing dive automatically into network when nulls are selected, too without need add them as editable nodes.

This way consist by adding a vector3 custom parameter in root level of asset and link to tx,ty,tz for my nulls in my case. However the custom parameter must be visible

don't make them editable, just promote desired transform parameters to your asset
then lock it, and then it should work, if you keep it unlocked, then it will not

EDIT: yes, basically what you have just discovered

Thanks tamte!

I don't know if exists a better method but to solve that promoted parameters be visible, instead to use “invisible” option, I have created an extra custom parameter as integer (as invisible), and I use the option “hide when” to hidden the promoted paramters by value of this extra parameter.

I unknew that behaviour be a bug… so its certainly can be annoying dive into network each time a item is selected.

H16 is about to release, so maybe we can wait to see this is fixed. Otherwise I report once again this bug.
