Hi list, i want to generate deep shadows from a mantra ROP.
I know i can generate Depth Shadow Maps using the -Z or -z parameters for the mantra command, but what about Deep Shadows, is possible to render them from a Mantra ROP?
Thanks
Deep Shadows from Mantra ROP How?

There is no command-line option to do this at the moment. It is possible to hack it by putting in the “ray_deep …” line manually into the scene file. For example, putting it in the camera's pre-include should to it.
ray_deep shadow /tmp/dsm.rat depth_interp discrete ofstorage real16 pzstorage real32 compression 5 zbias 0.001 ofsize 3 depth_mode farthest
This is a pretty messy solution, I'll add an RFE to do it with a command-line option.
