Hello,
I'm trying to animate a value I have in a spare parameter to increase from 1 to 10 (from frame 1 to 120), and then back to 1 (from frame 121 to 240). However, when I keyframe the values, instead of gradually changing, it just jumps from 1 to 10 at frame 120, and then jumps back to 1 at frame 240. the spare parameter is a float one.
Thank you.

Sounds like your key frames got switch to some other type than linear() or bezier().
You may have untied tangents or something..?
Right-Click and delete the animated channel and re-create your keyframe animation.
Shift-Middle Click on the name of the channel to reveal the new keyframes curve editor.
Use CTRL-A to select all the keyframes and check the drop down in the lower right hand corner. It controls the function type for selected keys.
