Hey,

Just wondering, does anyone think it would be possible to export a node (to a file) and then import it into another Houdini instance on separate computer? (using a bit of custom python scripting)

I'm essentially after the copy/paste function that already exists, but would like it to be a bit more portable by saving this copied node (clipboard) to a location on the network for other people to then paste the node.

Thoughts?

Thanks

Copied nodes are saved as a .cpio file per context to your houdini temp folder, feel free to port them to wherever you need
