I suppose this is not directly a Houdini question, but as I'm using Mantra, I dare to post it anyway.
We have rendered a city animation using, but Mantra at 25 fps - 200 frames. No motion blur.

We've used AfterEffects to add a bit of motion blur among color corrections and such and then save the movie out as mp4 using H264 (youtube HD preset in Media Encoder). Comp is done with exr files.

The result:


Thing is though that at 25 fps, the video plays very choppy/stuttery and just not fluid, not even if run from my SSD hard drive.

Is this an issue of not enough fps or any other effect that I am missing?
