Hey team,

I've been making some materials in Substance Painter and have tried to set them up in Houdini, but they're not registering properly.

I've set them up in another package (Unreal Engine) and they work fine, just wondering what i'm doing wrong here. I know the levels may need adjusting in Houdini, but still the colours are all wrong, it seems Houdini is skipping some of the colour maps - for example the handle is green when it should be grey.

Any ideas would be welcome

Hi, it looks like you have colour values applied to the model which will be visible in the viewport but not a render. (unless you are using the Cd in the shader)

You can remove Cd using an attribute delete sop.

If you render the image in Houdini using the same lighting as Substance, it should look the same/very close. (The viewport has improved but a render is a closer comparison).
