Having to type 0 instead of just reading the value

Dear all, I observed houdini for a very, very long time now from the sidelines and finally started learning it. But there's one thing that bugs me, maybe I've just missed an option somewhere that fixes this. The question: is it possible to set Houdini to the rather standardized behavior of being able to set a value to 0 (zero) just by marking it and hitting backspace or delete + return instead of explicitly typing in 0?

Because I often do this only to find out that it doesn't set it to 0 and reverts the value to the previous one after hitting enter…

I just noticed that if you Ctrl + middle-click in a channel, it goes to zero. Is that what you mean?

Oh damn! Wow, that's even better than what I was asking for after a short getting used to! Thanks a lot!
