Hey all, learning Houdini,
How would I scatter points on this model, with control over how they are scattered?
I dont want random location like with the Scatter Node,
Im trying to do geometric lines for instance.
Thanks
itai

You can use the “Copy and Transform” node, with geometry of your choice;

* with a line input that has points along it
* grid with points scattered its' surface
* grid with high col/line count
* etc. etc.

Set those grids to 2 rows and 2 columns, put both your dino and the grids into a boolean, which you set to ‘seams’ and scatter on those seams.
