Trying to simulate sand

Hello everyone, I have a simple scene with a hour glass I downloaded. I turned the glass into a collider and put a sphere inside and turned it into dry sand. When I simulate it, the sand “bust” out of the glass and I can't figure out why. I thought maybe holes in the geo or the thickness. So I extruded the geo and used a facet and still no luck. If someone can help, thank you very much. Enjoy your day.

Hi, you could try surface collisions instead, I've attached a hip file. I've also added a switch to remove some intersecting geometry.

Thanks!. Works perfect. Can I pick your brain on another topic. I'm trying to fracture the glass at the bottom with a marble hitting it, but I'm not having any luck. I'm not sure on the right attempt/order to do it. I was thinking to fracture the glass, cache it, then use it as a static again so the sand can flow out of it. I have the section grouped(ToFracture).
