Hi;
Is there any “Skew” deformer in Houdini (like other 3d software)?
Thanks.

Wouldn't applying a matrix be sufficient? “Rotation” basically is skewing “done well”.

Out of here. Being called a dick after having supported Houdini users for years is over my paygrade.
I will work for money, but NOT for "you have to provide people with free products" Indie-artists.
Good bye.

I'm pretty sure, that (once) shear was a part of the twist sop.
But the transform sop will do the job for sure.
If you want similar behaviour like 3ds max or something, I would prefer an attribute wrangle. If you have a center an axis and a direction, which is perpendicular to the axis you can use this to capture the geometry to get local parameters.
For each point a local translation can be performed, depending on these parameters. Adding few ramps can give more control over the local direction / amount for example.
