Baking uv/texture

hello everyone

i am trying to bake uv with texture in houdini, in png format
which i want use in photoshop
actually i dont know the procedure for baking textures in houdini
i added a mantra node and in RENDER tab i mentioned the
UV render object and the UV attribute the render image is not correct, how to get a flat image without this black shading .

can anyone guide me how to bake uv/texture in houdini

One important thing is you should save UV in the Vertices (By default is Points).

thank you for your help still i have some doubts
the geometry which i am using is imported from maya when i viewed in detail view the vertex attribute is there please tell me how can i save UV in vertices when we import geos form maya which already have UV assigned to geometry
i am attaching houdini hip file if possible please go through it and guide me how to corret this problem.

But UV for Objects that imported from Maya are stored in the Vertices by Default !
I checked your file and the Airplane's Texture Baked correctly ! (Check Attached File)

However if in the special case you wanna convert Point's UV to Vertex UV ,So you can use “AttribPromote SOP” :idea:

hello can one tell me more about how to get a flat image from an UV set?
In the “out” network, I didnd't find an “uv render” node…

So how do you send your UV's to Photoshop? So far I'm using the “print screen” on my keyboard but there must be a more elegant way…

hi,
right click on SOP then SAVE > texture UV to image..
