Bringing FBX geometry into a lop

I'm trying to bring some external geometry from an FBX file into a lop.

When I use FBX import, the Houdini generates a fairly large tree of subnetworks where the leaf subnetworks have a file node to bring in a small part of the FBX file, and possibly an Edge Cusp (which seems to do the opposite of what is desired, but that's a different issue). Each subnetwork generally has a transform applied to it.

If I try to reference the geometry down at the leaves, none of the transforms of the above subnetworks are applied, so I end up with a bunch of pieces of the geometry not positioned or rotated correctly.

Last time I used an FBX file, I ended up redoing all of the transforms as actual transforms on the geometry, which was a lot of work. I was hoping for an easier way, but I haven't found anything yet.

Thanks,
David

The scene import lop should preserve the hierarchy of transforms and geometry.
