I'm a total Houdini newbie. Downloaded the Apprentice version a few months ago and did some tutorials, all well and fine. But suddenly today I can't render anything anymore. The render scene stay stuck with the “Generating Scene” message. I tried different settings, but nothing worked. Finally I uninstalled averything, downloaded and reinstalled Houdini, but I still have the same problem. Any idea ? (I am on MacOS High Sierra).

Try rendering again. I often get stuck at Generating scene. Sometimes just issuing another render brings it up.

BTW it's been that way for years.

I've tried a dozen times, but I'll try again and let it run for at least an hour. Hope it will finally work.
